Recently I have been feeling that my music is lacking something, that I approach each new piece in such a way that seems as though there is no sense of anything new happening within my writing or any sense of progress.

I am not sure as to whether this is down to personal dissatisfaction with my musical language or whether I am simply feeling the pressure to be innovative due to my environment.

This is a piece that doesn't move.
