Performance Notes
The choreographer should follow the written instructions as closely as possible when designing the choreography for the piece.
The Pole Dancer should wear clothing that isn't overtly colourful, simple in design and is similar to sports clothing in that it covers up the erogenous zones but also allows for ease of movement. The Pole Dancer can wear small amounts of makeup (such as eyeshadow and slight highlight/contour) but it must be subtle and not obvious. The Saxophonist and Drummer should wear all black concert dress, with a long sleeve black shirt and black trousers.
The Saxophonist and Drummer should not pay any attention to the choreographer as they perform and should focus their attention outward to the audience at all times.
The lighting for the performance should be quite warm, dreamlike and dense, similar to the lighting used for a cabaret performance. If a lighting designer is involved with the performance you can add in more dramatic lighting effects that can be seen in a strip club but they must be in accordance with the pacing of the pole dancer's choreography.
