City Song: Birmingham is a musical derive across the city centre of Birmingham taken from Birmingham New Street Station to the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire. The original idea for City Song came about from a symphonic-sounding shutter grate at the back of (what was) Marks and Spencer on Renfrew Street in Glasgow.
